The Downfall of Xerox

  1. Corporate could not properly manage and fund it's subsidiaries
  2. Sales and marketing people were influencing the company
  3. Product person at xerox couldn't change the course of the company
  4. Xerox had bet against Intel and against decentralized computing which didn't turn out well for them

The Downfall of Xerox

  1. Xerox forgot about product sensibility ; They were making high profit margins as it was a monopoly market share
  2. Brother, Canon , Epson , Mergenthaler were already saturating the low end of the product spectrum.
  3. As of monopoly Xerox did not have to change the technology and make innovation to keep up ; this also stalled their success for a while
