Recording is a the action or process of recording sound or a performance for subsequent reproduction or broadcast. a recorded broadcast or performance. a disc or tape on which sounds or visual images have been recorded.

There are two type of recording system namely; Analog and Digital Audio When you speak, the sound you create is in the analog or wave format. The sound that you hear is also in analog format. Audio is of two types, analog and digital. When you speak, the sound you create is in the analog or wave format. The sound that you hear is also in analog format. Computers are basically digital devices. Therefore, it is necessary to convert audio from the analog format to the digital format before using it on a computer.
Digital Audio (^) Digital Audio file can be compressed. (^) Audio files are generally large. (^) Compressed audio files save space, allow portability, and are easier to transfer over the Internet. (^) When you compress audio files, the quality of the audio file is generally affected. (^) Requires special equipment to generate high quality products.
