“I learned more about myself. I got to meet wonderful people and I feel great because I have made a great impact in life.” What did your WSU 4-H Eco-Stewardship staff do very well? “They brought us all together and we became really close like a family. I even became friends with people I used to dislike.” “They were great leaders and great friends. They communicated well and gave us a chance to lead. If someone asked you why they should or should not sign-up for this program what would you tell them? “That they have nothing to lose and something to gain.” “I think you should because it teaches you about a lot, it is fun, you are happy, it releases stress and you will learn a lot about life.” “I would tell them to sign up because science looks dead when you read it, but when you experience it, it comes to life.” “I would tell them to sign up because they don’t just teach you about our community, but about each other.” “I would tell them that it was my favorite program I have ever participated in and it is an awesome experience. It really broadens your perspective on the world around you. It is eye opening.” Other Comments: “I’m glad I was able to participate in this project. Now I sometimes catch myself being more aware of my surrounding from the things I’ve learned.” “I just need to say that I really enjoyed being in the program. I wouldn’t mind doing it again…and I hope that
