First Islamic Sultanate structure were built by disparate dismantled pieces of Hindu temples.

  • Slave Dynasty 1191-1246 (sultanate e mamluk Persian mean Ghulam or slave)

Story: Mohammad Ghori won india and became supreme king and establish the sultanate after his assassination/death the

Mamluk dynasty split into 4 pieces. Because Ghori had no son.

  1. Ghazni
  2. Bengal
  3. Multan
  4. Delhi

Under slave dynasty the following kings ruled

  1. Qutub ud din aibak 1206-1210:- He establish his capital at two places first at Lahore ad then shifted to delhi.started construction of Qutub Minar. Followed by son Aram Shah but defeated after one year by iltumish.
  2. Iltumish 1211-1326:- Slave dynasty become strong in his strong governance and completed the qutub minar as well. He died after 25 year and Razia sultana become heir to the throne.
