• (^) Shahi was established in 1974 by Mrs. Sarla Ahuja, who began her journey as a sewing machine operator in a factory. The family-owned company has grown to become India’s largest apparel manufacturer and exporter.

SPINNING AND KNITTING WEAVING AND PROCESSING GARMENTING AND DESIGN

• Shahi’s vertically integrated textile operations are at the cutting edge of innovation in the apparel industry. We operate textile mills for producing woven and knitted fabrics, sourcing the high-quality cotton which is then processed into textiles for garments and other products.
• (^) Our textile mills provide around 80 percent of the fabric requirement of our 65 factories, where we manufacture garments for some of the world’s biggest brands. Shahi’s in-house design team and laboratory ensure seamless integration of our customers’ needs from fiber to final product.

SPINNING AND KNITTING

o (^) Shahi houses best-in-class technology from around the world for automated material flow and quality assurance. It delivers a wide range of knitted fabrics including jersey, interlock, pique, Lacoste, rib, French terry, jacquards and auto stripes, in cotton and cotton blends, using low to high yarn counts.

GARMENTING AND DESIGN

Shahi runs one of the largest embroidery set-ups in Asia. We have the latest wash expertise and can execute wash developments from basic denims to innovative fabrics. Shahi’s design and product development infrastructure consists of over 100 designers, ranging from CAD to textile and apparel experts, with dedicated teams for each of our key clients. We were one of the first garment manufacturers to integrate advanced design technologies such as 3D CAD design and 3D draping.
