1.If a provision of an international treaty conflicts with a custom rule, discuss how the conflict
can be resolved, taking into account the following different possibilities (50 points):
There is a customary rule on the related issue, but, despite that rule, an international
treaty is adopted between the parties. Which one will prevail?
If one of them regulating the issue is in narrower-more special manner?
Customary rule emerged after the international treaty, and incompatible with the treaty
provisions?
2. What are the types of treaties? Give example for each. (20 points)
3. How the obligation not to recognize illegal situations was set out by the ICJ? Explain giving
references to a sample case (30 points).

of a maximum of 500 words(Arial font, 12 pt font size, single spacing, justified) in a single
word file, with a file name including your name_surname_course name.
