History of Satellites

Earth’s first Satellite On October 4, 1957, the Soviet Union launched the world's first artificial satellite, Sputnik 1. ia’s first Satellite E ARYABHATA” as launched by India on April 1975. as built by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)

How do satellite works

  • (^) In a geostationary satellite communications system, a message signal is transmitted from an earth station via uplink to a satellite, amplifies in a transponder and then retransmitted from the satellite via a downlink to another earth station
