As you all know that Qualcomm has announced their latest processor Snapdragon 888 last week.
And we are happy to announce that we will be launching our latest smartphone based on the most
powerful chip from qualcomm, snapdragon 888 this month only. It will be a fully packed phone in
terms of power, performance and camera.
Q1. Sir in which price bracket are you going to launch this phone?
Ans. Well, it will be a flagship killer. So, you can guess the price bracket and for exact price you have
to wait for the launch event.
Q2. Manu can you give us some more information about the camera, the sensor or atleast
megapixels?
Ans. At this point of time I would say that it will provide you industry leading camera performance.
Alright it will have a quad cam setup at back and a dual cam setup in the front in a punch-hole
design.
Q3. Like other smartphones will this be a rebranding of some other device for India and will it be a
redmi device or poco or xiaomi?
Ans. First of all let me clear this Redmi and Poco are independent brands now so it will be a Xiaomi
device. And this will be a whole new device but maybe launched with a different name as global
market but it will be under the brand name of Xiaomi only.
Q4. Is it gonna support wireless charging or ip rating, or you will be doing cost cutting here?
Ans. As I said earlier, it will be a flagship killer. So, at this price point it is very difficult for a
smartphone brand to provide these things because it is a very complicated segment.
As a smartphone manufacturer we have to keep in mind that the price should not exceed the limit.
So, we just focus on providing all the essential features like flagship smartphones, the camera,
processor. We have to do some cost cutting here but we are trying if we could fit some of these
things also.
Q5. Will NFC be there in this smartphone?
Ans. These things are not essentials and as I said that we focus on providing essentials in this
segment. Well talking about NFC, in other countries, it comes under essentials as all the payments
are digital there but in India even all the banks does not support NFC so we have excluded it from
essentials in India.
Q6. Will there be single device or multiple devices in the launch event?
Ans. There will be multiple products.
