Answer: Team spirit is a feeling of working together, cooperation, loyalty, honesty among the team members and endeavours to do challenging tasks so that team is able to achieve a common goal. It also refers to the work environment in which there is a feeling of collaboration, accomplishment, dedication and endeavour to become the strongest team. Team spirit is very important for me because if my team has good team spirit then it establishes an environment in which members help and support each other in each task with finest collaborative behaviour, has good communication skills, interpersonal skills and negotiating skills, boost motivation and inspiration among the team, able to complete arduous tasks in a short time, able to deal with unexpected situations or problems without any stress, increase productivity and creativity, good work ethics, build trust and members have strong working relationship with each other. We can build team spirit with the help of following points: Explain the real meaning of teamwork to the team and have discussion on it. Team should have regular discussion meeting. Interact with each member of the team. Allow each team member to express his ideas or opinions openly and listen to his views carefully and without interrupting. Organize team activities daily so that team members interact with each other and able to know how to work in a team in order to get better results. Admire the work of each team member. If any team member is facing any kind of problem then solve it at early stage. Set daily targets so that team will able to improve collaboration skills. Improve weaknesses and enhance strengths of team. Guide and direct them properly. Set rules and regulations for predictability and consistency.
