FDP on Career in the field of Engineering
ABC University organized one day faculty development program on Career in the field of
Engineering. The objective of the program is to provide the information about all the career
in the field of Engineering to the students so that it will be helpful in their goal setting and
they have the knowledge about each career so it will be helpful for them to decide the best
path. The program was held online due to current COVID-19 pandemic situation.
S. Gurdeep Singh Sihra, Pro-Chancellor, welcomed all the guests by showing his gratitude
and warmth towards them for attending the event and gave an overview of the program.
Dr. V.K. Rattan, Vice-Chancellor4shared his experience in the field of Engineering to the
students and stated that with the help of which skill, students can make more progress in a
career. He also talk about the recent progresses in each field. The students stated all the
problems that they have been facing during their studies and after listening to all the
problems, he stated some solutions which can be helpful if students follow them. He also
asked students to share their aim of the life so that program will be interesting and he can
help them in achieving it by giving them some advice.
The program concluded with an interactive session where the students raised their queries
and the speakers gave answer of each query. The program was highly valued by all the
students, guests and teachers.
The program was followed by the vote of thanks addressed by Mr. Baljit Singh.
