Objective

 The transmitter sends the data and receiver receiving the data is displayed on the screen using light communication

 Data transmitted over Wi-Fi and Li-Fi are compared in terms of speed and efficiency.

 To provide enhanced wireless communication using VLC technology

  1. Data is given to the transmitter circuit using keypad or any source and Led is used for transmission of data
  2. Receiver circuit consists of a photo diode which is used as a data receiver and is fed to the microcontroller for processing.
  3. Finally the received data which is same as the transmitted data is displayed on the LED screen

Advantages

 The data transfer rate for internet application is higher.

 It provides high amount of security as data communication is line of sight (LOS).

The lifi devices consume low power for operation and hence used in IoT applications.

It uses optical spectrum and hence avoids already crowded RF spectrum.

It is easy to install.

Conclusion

Our aim is to achieve data communication through VLC which is better than RF communication and Wi-fi.

 Our focus was on demonstrating the maturity of this technology for a number of dense high-speed wireless communication scenarios
