The Nebular Hypothesis and the Age of the Earth, Essays (university) of Geology

The nebular hypothesis, which proposes that our solar system formed from a giant explosion called the big bang. The earth, which was once extremely hot due to the big bang, was formed from the solidified material in the solar nebula. The age of the earth is estimated to be approximately 4.5 billion years old based on the nebular hypothesis and the radioactive decay of the oldest known rock on earth, found in canada. The document also references a textbook for further reading.

ORIGIN OF THE EARTH
According the nebular hypothesis, our solar system result from a huge
explosion called the Big Bang. Before the Big Bang, there was enormous rotating
cloud named as solar nebula. And after the explosion, the solidified Earth which
had once high temperature due to the Big Bang was formed and is about 4.5 billion
years old. Foundations on Earth support the age of the Earth. For example, the
oldest known rock on Earth is about 4 billion years old which is known by looking
the radioactive decay of the rock and it founded in the Canada, in the Acasta River
which is a sample of gneiss. All in all, the nebular hypothesis and radioactive decay
for the oldest known rock on Earth support that the Earth is approximately 4.5
billion years old, whereas the error for approximation can be a billion year not a
small numbers of years.
