Adobe is the global leader in digital media and digital marketing solutions. Their creative, marketing and document solutions empower everyone – from emerging artists to global brands – to bring digital creations to life and deliver immersive, compelling experiences to the right person at the right moment for the best results. In short, Adobe is everywhere, and They’re changing the world through digital experiences.

Adobe is best known for its Adobe Flash web software ecosystem, Photoshop image editing software, Adobe Illustrator vector graphics editor, Acrobat Reader, the Portable Document Format (PDF), and Adobe Creative Suite, as well as its successor Adobe Creative Cloud.

Adobe was founded in December 1982 by John Warnock and Charles Geschke , who established the company after leaving Xerox PARC in order to develop and sell the PostScript page description language.

As of 2019, Adobe has more than 21,000 employees worldwide, about 40% of whom work in San Jose. Adobe also has major development operations in Newton, Massachusetts; New York City, New York; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Lehi, Utah; Seattle, Washington; and San Francisco, California in the United States. It also has major development operations in Noida and Bangalore in India.

MEDICAL

Adobe’s medical plans feature comprehensive benefits to take care of your health care needs. From physiotherapy and nutritionists, to hospital visits and prescription drugs—They’ve got you covered.

Group Health Insurance

This policy covers hospital expenses related illness, disease or injury. Your spouse, dependent parents and up to two children are covered as well.

Coverage includes:

  • Hospitalization benefits with a “Family Floater” maximum of INR 700,000 for the entire family and a sublimit of INR 500,000 for parents.
  • Maternity-related hospitalization expenses of up to INR 100,000 (counted toward your total benefit of INR 700,000).
  • 20% copay for all parent claims.
  • Critical illness, which supplements your medical and disability.

Health Checkup

To help you stay fit and be healthy, They offer an annual health screening through Medi Assist Healthcare Services. This benefit, available to all regular employees who have worked at Adobe for at least one month, allows you to get a free health checkup each year at prominent medical centers. The same benefits are extended to your dependents at subsidized rates, and there are multiple other discounted options available through the MediBuddy portal.

Home Health Care

As a regular employee, you have access to discounted home health care services, including doctor visits and nursing care.

Onsite Health Facilities

You also have access to the following services:

  • Pharmacy helpdesk
  • General Physician
  • Gynecologist
  • Physiotherapist

PROVIDENT FUND

Adobe matches your contributions to the Provident Fund, up to 12% of your basic salary. You’ll fill out an enrollment form on your first day of work.

Forms you may need to complete for various needs are :

  • (^) Declaration form
  • Loan request form
  • Nominee change form
  • Withdrawal form

Voluntary Provident Fund (VPF)

You can contribute up to 88% of your salary to the VPF. You can start and stop these contributions at any time at Excelity.

Gratuity

In appreciation of your service to Adobe, all employees who have worked at least five years at Adobe will receive additional money on their last paycheck. The amount of this extra money—called “gratuity”—is 15 days of wages for every year of service.

We want to help you and your immediate family members maintain a well- rounded, healthy lifestyle. We will reimburse you up to INR 38,688 in 2019 for gym memberships, fitness classes, nutritional counseling and much more.

Commuter Program

Late Night Transport : This free service gets you home safe if you stay at work past 10pm. With your manager’s approval. Company Car Benefit : All employees can get a company car through the car lease program. Here are the highlights

  • The Car Lease Plan is through Lease Plan India Pvt. Limited.
  • You can lease the car for either 36 or 48 months; it is in Adobe’s name.
  • You’ll pay about 65%–75% of the leasing cost to cover the cost of car, interest rates, road tax, etc.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

When life management issues arise, you don't have to go it alone. Adobe offers the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) at no cost to you and available 24/7, 365 days a year. It provides you and your dependents access to confidential, short-term professional counseling services. You’re eligible for up to six free sessions per life issue each calendar year. You also have access to a full range of tools and resources on a variety of topics to assist you in balancing your work and personal needs.

Education Reimbursement

Adobe’s Learning Fund will reimburse you up to INR 703,412 for tuition and books for courses, graduate programs and certain certifications that meet the reimbursement benefit's eligibility criteria.

Professional development reimbursement

Adobe’s Learning Fund will reimburse you up to INR 70,341 for short-term learning opportunities and skill development.

TIME OFF BENEFITS

Public Holidays

12 days are declared public holidays.

Time Off

  • Vacation - 15 days per year; carry forward limit is 45 days (No leave credit beyond the limit)
  • Casual Leave - 8 days per year
  • Sick Leave - Up to 10 days per year
  • Company Winter Break - 5 days deducted from your Casual Leave. (If no Casual Leave is available, days will be deducted from your Vacation Leave.)

Sabbatical Leave

Paid time off granted based on years of continuous service*:

- 4 weeks after 5 years of continuous service •5 weeks after 10 years of continuous service •6 weeks after 15 years or more of continuous service.

Maternity Leave

26 weeks for the birth or adoption of a child including time for recovery and bonding. Please refer to the policy for more details.

Paternity Leave

10 paid paternity days are available for fathers to bond after the birth or adoption of a child. These days are in addition to PTO and must be used within 6 months of the delivery of the new born.

Miscarriage Leave

Maximum of six weeks immediately following the day of miscarriage.

Bereavement Leave

Employees can use 20 workdays (4 weeks) which are not a part of PTO days in case of death of grandparents, parents/(in-law), sibling, spouse and child.
