Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions contained herein (these “Terms and Conditions”) shall govern this Contest

therefore it is advisable that you read and understand these Terms and Conditions. By entering this

Contest, you agree and accept to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

A. Duration

The Malaysia Airlines IU <Love, Poem> concert tickets giveaway contest (“Contest”) is organised by

Malaysia Airlines Berhad (“MAB”) and will run from 2nd December 2019 (10:00AM, Malaysian time) –

15th December 2019 (11:59PM, Malaysian time) (“Contest Period”).

B. Eligibility and Participation

1. Any person who has fulfilled the criteria below is eligible to participate in this Contest

(“Participant”):

a) Aged 12 years and above.

b) A Malaysian citizen.

2. The following person(s) shall not be eligible to participate in this Contest:

a) permanent, contractual & temporary employees of MAB (including those within the

Malaysia Aviation Group Berhad) and their immediate family members; and

b) representatives, business partners and/or agents (including advertising and promotion

agents and their immediate family members) of MAB.

3. The mechanics of the Contest are as follows:

a) Participants will need to purchase Malaysia Airlines ticket (s) to anywhere including

Domestic & International within contest period 2nd December 2019 – 15th December 2019,

and travel period between 2nd December 2019 until 30th June 2020.

b) Must be named as a passenger on the tickets purchased under para (a) above.

c) Eligible participants are to submit the following details, Full Name, PNR Booking Reference

Number, Email Address followed by a short slogan on the application form via

malaysiaairlines.com/IUConcertGiveaway

d) Each PNR Booking Number = 1 contest entry

e) Participants can enter multiple entries with valid PNR.

f) Participants must submit slogan for valid contest entry.

g) Submissions are only valid via Malaysia Airlines websites.

h) Selection of winners will be done by Malaysia Airlines with a total of 10 grand lucky winners

and 30 lucky winners.

4. Winner will be selected based on the creativity of the submission.

C. Prize

1. Ten (10) Grand Lucky Winners (“Grand Winner”) will receive 1 ‘mystery’ lifetime experience and a pair of tickets worth of RM728 each to IU <Love, Poem> Concert in Kuala Lumpur. 2. Thirty (30) Lucky Winners (“Winner”) will receive a pair of concert tickets worth of RM728 each to IU <Love, Poem> Concert in Kuala Lumpur. 3. The Prize is subject to the following terms and conditions: a. Concert Tickets must be utilized on selected date and time only. b. Winners will need to redeem the concert tickets at Malaysia Airlines redemption counter at the venue during event day or as per informed. c. Winners will be verified via their Full Name, IC Number, Email and Contact Number provided during tickets redemption. d. The Ticket(s) shall not to be transferred, upgraded, assigned or be the subject for a refund in cash or kind whether in part or in full. e. MAB will not entertain any request to change, vary, or amend the date, time, location, venue and/or other details determined for the Prize. f. Failure to claim the Prize within the manner and period stipulated in the Winning Notification will result in forfeiture of the Prize and the Winner will have no claim whatsoever against Malaysia Airlines, its agents and/or employees.

Any and all expenses and arrangement (including but not limited to Malaysia Airlines Academy, personal cost, food and beverage) incurred in relation to accepting, collecting or using the Prize shall be borne by the Winner.
Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the Winner. If the winner cannot be contacted within 24 hours after the Contest Period, or if the winner fails to communicate their acceptance of the Ticket Prize to MAB within 24 hours of being contacted, or is unable to comply with these Terms and Conditions, MAB reserves the right to offer the Ticket Prize to the next Participant based on the judges’ scores.
Should a Participant’s contact details change during the Contest, it is the Participant's responsibility to notify MAB directly.

employees, representatives, retailers, distributors, dealers as well as its advertising, creative, media, digital, design and other creative agencies of MAB, in the event of forfeiture thereof.

Notwithstanding the above, MAB is entitled to replace the Prizes with other prizes of similar value at any time without any prior notice.
MAB shall not be liable for any disruption to the Contest, whether due to technical problems or otherwise, which is beyond its reasonable control. In the event of disruption to the Contest, reasonable efforts shall be used to remedy the disruption and resume the Contest on a fair and equitable basis to the Eligible Participants.
MAB, its affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, employees, representatives, retailers, distributors, dealers as well as its advertising, creative, media, digital, design and other creative agencies of MAB, shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to loss of opportunities and any indirect or consequential losses) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with or arising from either participation in this Contest or with any of the Prizes offered or forfeited.
The Terms and Conditions of the Contest shall be construed, governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
All rights and privileges herein granted to MAB are irrevocable and not subjected to rescission, restraint or injunction under any and all circumstances. Under no circumstances shall the Eligible Participants have the right to injunctive relief or to restrain or otherwise interfere with the organisation of the Contest, the production, distribution, exhibition and/or exploitation of the Contest and/or any product based on and/or derived from the Contest.
All personal data collected will only be used for the purposes of managing and operating the Contest and not for any other purposes.
MAB reserves the right at its absolute discretion to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions without any prior notice.
These Terms and Conditions will prevail over any inconsistent terms, conditions, provisions or representations contained in any other promotional materials advertising the Contest.
The main language of the Terms and Conditions shall be the English language. Any translation to any other language than English shall be for convenience only. Should there be any discrepancies between the English Terms & Conditions and the translated version, the English Terms & Conditions shall prevail.

By virtue of an entry to the Contest, the Eligible Participants signify their absolute and unconditional acceptance and agreement to all the Terms and Conditions stipulated herein.
MAB reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend the Contest without any prior notice. For the avoidance of doubt, any cancellation, termination or suspension by MAB of the Contest shall not entitle the Eligible Participants to any claim or compensation against MAB, its agents and employees for any and all losses or damages suffered or incurred by the Eligible Participants as a direct or an indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension thereof.
By participating in this Contest, it is deemed that the Eligible Participants have read and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
MAB will not be held responsible for any typographical errors or misprint under these Terms and Conditions.
