Feasibility Study:
Feasibility study is a necessity for any project before the work on it begins. Any project that is not
feasible in any way cannot be approved for further development since it is not profitable to be
investing time and resources of any individual/organization into that project. All projects should be
feasible in aspects like technical, economical and so on.
Technical feasibility- My technical requirements include Adobe XD for wireframing and
UI/UX design. Internet connection for research and diagnosis of the project. Since
smartphones are common and almost everybody owns them, and it is the only requirement
to use our app by the public. And for this very reason I consider my application technically
feasible.
Economic feasibility- My application does require a lot of initial cost of production or
operation and also because of the prevalence of mobile data and even free Wi-Fi in many
places my app can be used by a wider range of consumers. I am using all the free to use
resources to my benefits to keep expenses of development to a minimum. According to my
calculations however the TCO will be profitable in the long run hence it will be economically
feasible.
Legal feasibility- My project abides by all cyber law guidelines from development to
operation. Our project has no any objection on any data protection acts or any trade acts or
laws and is legally viable and ready for operation and release. Hence it is legally feasible.
Operational Feasibility- The consumers of my product do not need sound technical skills
to operate my application and reap the benefits of our services. My system is very easy to
maintain and does not require sound admin skills to keep it running. Hence, my project is
operationally feasible.
Scheduling Feasibility- My project is properly scheduled and different tasks have been
allocated to a timeline with a predefined due date. All tasks have been properly scheduled
and will be completed in time if there are no unplanned circumstances that halts
development for more than 5 days. I do have a 6-day buffer period for any interruptions.
Thus, my project has scheduling feasibility.

feasible in any way cannot be approved for further development since it is not profitable to be

investing time and resources of any individual/organization into that project. All projects should be

feasible in aspects like technical, economical and so on.

 Technical feasibility - My technical requirements include Adobe XD for wireframing and

UI/UX design. Internet connection for research and diagnosis of the project. Since

smartphones are common and almost everybody owns them, and it is the only requirement

to use our app by the public. And for this very reason I consider my application technically

feasible.

 Economic feasibility - My application does require a lot of initial cost of production or

operation and also because of the prevalence of mobile data and even free Wi-Fi in many

People Analysis:

This product, since it incorporates a small variation of stakeholders. There are various categories of people who are the potential users of our app. The potential users of our app are as following:  Students. The students are our users as most students are busy with their studies. For example, students who have exams near and are heavily focused on their studies. This is a definitely a huge number of students that could benefit with this easy to use app.  Working adults. The elderly are our users as forgetfulness happens naturally when people are getting older. Since forgetfulness is a common problem among the elderly, the elderly can use this app to help them drink water and even take medicines on time. i. Secondary Stakeholders: a. Maintenance team b. Testing team iii. Tertiary Stakeholders: a. Software Developers b. Mobile phone companies c. ISP’s

Context Analysis

Physical Context:  All of the activities are performed with the use of a mobile phone.  All of the activities can be performed in various places which include both indoor and outdoor When it is indoor, the brightness of the device should not be too high to prevent discomfort towards the eyes. On the other hand, when it is outdoor, the brightness of the device should be higher than its environment so that the user is able to look at the information from the device clearly.  All the activities can be performed when the user’s external body is in different condition such sweaty, muddy, wet and etc. When the user’s hand is sweaty, it makes swiping the device’s screen difficult as it is slippery and the device’s touchscreen are unable to detect the finger movement performed by the user.
