The tasks and objectives of this organisation are directed towards productivity, profitability, efficiency and growth. . Formal organisations structure is pyramid shaped with ranks of individuals are made clear by use of designations. . There is a prescribed system of reward or punishment. 1. Informal Organisation It is a natural and spontaneous structure arising out of the social tendency of people to associate and interact. Its tasks and objectives predominantly centre around individual and group satisfaction. There is no particular shape for an informal organisation. Ranks of individuals are implicit.
