Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) can broadly be defined as a study of the effects of a proposed project, plan or program on the environment. GLASS INDUSTRIES:- We had done research on tuffen glass industries. And The company that we have taken is “UMIYA GLASS INDUSTRY”. UMIYA Glass Industries is processed glass manufacturing company. They manufacture Tempered Glasses, Insulated Glasses, Laminated Glasses, Security Glass, Heat Strengthen Glass, and Ceramic Printed Glass. The widest range of glass, meeting diverse industrial, commercial and residential needs including Construction, Automobile, Pharmaceutical, Furniture, Defence, and Railway sectors. UMIYA Glass Industries is located at Asoj Village, Vadodara – Savli Highway, it is 15 KM from Vadodara and 100 KM from Ahmedabad Their corporates client are:-
How The Industry lead to Sustainable
development
Umiya Glass Industry 100% recycle the glass wastage. While making the tuffen glass, if glass broken into small pieces, the company sell that glass wastage to the glass making industries, where they reuse that glass wastage, they mixed them with raw material and make a new glass. As per the government, every glass making industries has to add 5-10% of the glass waste with raw material while making the glass. Umiya Glass Industry is located in the industrial zone, which is 15 km from the resident area. If there is a land where farming is not possible, then also that land can be occupied by establishing the industry. Now a day, while making the building, glass are consume more than the brick and cement, because glass give a perfect shape to the building, make attractive and also helpful for maintaining the inner temperature. Because of the use of glass the infrastructure get boost which lead to the development of the countries. Because of the industries, people gets job/work and increase employment which lead to increase in the GDP of the county. Industries help government to generate revenue by paying tax, and using that revenue for the development of the villages
out of sand and gravel layers. Backwashing is required to clean these filters on a regular basis. Before entering the distribution system, water is disinfected. Chlorine is used to disinfect and decontaminate water.
2.Noise Pollution:-
Umiya Glass Industry contain heavy duty machinery for making tuffen glass. So these machine also cause sound which lead to noise pollution. So to reduce noise pollution the Umiya Glass Industry came up with solution, that they cover the machinery with the aluminum sheet, which lead to reduce the noise. And also the shed of the company is made up of aluminum. Because of these the noise is travel within the 30- meter

Safety measure
They provide proper safety kit which include safety helmets, gloves, eye protection, high-visibility clothing, safety footwear. They provide employee insurance, which is applicable for any kind of accidents in the commercial area They have kept fire extinguisher around the industries. They have provided proper positioning so that they are not affected by any malfunctioning

government and Government Issue a license to the industry. Detail of Authorization:- CONDITION UNDER AIR ACT 1981:- To operate industrial plant for the manufacture of the following items/products:-
Government intervention
- Before the usage of tools or appliances its importance for government to verify and test the tool before there usage in the commercial site
- Government has declared some area for industrial zone
- Government also do regular visit to industry for keeping a check if everything is done accordingly in a proper manner or not
- The industries has to renew there licence every interval of 5 year.
