Sub: Communication to combat spread of Novel Corona Virus (COVID -19) Sir/Madam, In pursuance to order and guidelines issued by Ministry of Home Affairs vide no 40-3/2020- DM-I(A) dated 24-03-2020 and dated [5-04-2020 read with subsequent orders issued from time to time and in view of the prevailing situation on the spread of Novel Corona virus (COVID - 19) and as a matter of abundant precaution to check its spread in the State of West Bengal, it has been decided by the competent authority in the Government of West Bengal that all Government, Government-aided, private educational institutions, Training Institutes will remain closed up to 10th June, 2020 in public interest. 2. Administrative departments of colleges/universities like the office of Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Finance/Examination Department, Head of the institute including emergency services e.g. electricity, cleanliness, water supply, security etc may remain open under strict COVID-19 protocol ssued, as per local need to be decided by the head of respective institute. and extant guidelin 3.
