Dirt:
The Movie
Monday, November 14th 6-8 PM
Robert Scott Small 235
Join us for a screening of “Dirt: The Movie” to learn
more about the relationship of humans with dirt. Dirt is
an often overlooked natural resource that has been
abused and degraded through industrial agriculture and
unchecked growth. Drought, climate change, and
human conflict are all related to the way we have been
treating dirt. A discussion after the movie will feature
Todd LeVasseur, Visiting Instructor of Religious Studies
and Seth Pritchard, Associate Professor of Biology.
Refreshments will be provided. For more information,
please contact Tracy Burkett (burkettt@cofc.edu).
