Auvard Speculum

USE:

designed to keep the vaginal canal open and free the surgeon's hands for OB/GYN procedures such as vaginal hysterectomy or dilation & curettage.

Cuscos Bivulvar Speculum :

  1. Graves vaginal speculum USE: used for performing pelvic examinations, Pap Smears, and examining the cervix, a double blade duckbill speculum inserted with the blades closed.

2.Pederson vaginal Speculum

USE:

long, thin speculum is narrower than a regular speculum, used in teenaged girls who have or haven't yet been sexually active.

Kogan Endocervical Speculum

USE:

allows deep access allowing the surgeon to grasp delicate polyps and tissues hidden in the endocervix.

Vulsellum Forceps

USE:

Grasping the cervix (usually the anterior lip of the cervix is grasped)

Tissue Forceps

USE:

fine handling of tissue and traction during dissection.

Schroeder Tenaculum Forceps

USE:

hold blood vessels or steady the cervix and uterus.

Javerts Forceps

USE:

firmly grasp the placenta and remove it. 11

Scalpel Handle

USE:

intended to be use with surgical blades for tissue separation and other procedure that require a sharp surgical blade to puncture or cut. Scalpel Handle hold the scalpel blade, it is a small and extremely sharp instrument used for surgery and anatomical dissection

Bozeman Forceps/ Ovum Holding forceps USE: tissue removal in dilation and curettage procedures, intrauterine device retrieval, and packing the uterine cavity.

Backhaus Towel Clamp

USE:

grasping tissue, securing towels or drapes, and holding or reducing small bone fractures.

Wall Retractor/Jackson Retractor

USE:

aid in separating the vaginal walls and allowing for better visualization and access to the cervix.

Goodell Dilators

USE:

dilating the uterus for a range of gynecological procedures. It is commonly used during colposcopy as well as IUCD insertion and dilatation and curettage procedures.

Kevorkian-Younge Endocervical Curette

USE:

obtaining cervical tissue for biopsy.

Foerster Sponge Forceps

USE:

hold sponges during the procedure. The ratchet handle helps to hold the sponges firmly.

Uterine curette

USE:

scrape or suction the uterine lining to diagnose and/or treat abnormal bleeding or to remove products of conception.

Uterine Sound

USE:

gauge the depth and position of the uterine cavity. It is also helpful with the placement of IUDs (Intra-uterine device) and the verification of the intrauterine position and length for HSG (Hysterosalpingography) procedures.
