Starting with the development of human society, cultural change takes place in different transitional phases. From caves to hunting and gathering societies and civilizations, culture undergo fundamental changes. Over the period of time certain technological, biological and natural factors change the cultural patterns of societies. Cultural anthropologists are especially concerned about the development of cultures and these fundamental changes. Activity: Your task is to explore the history of one million years and locate the different phases of social and cultural development.
