Today we will discus about the international law.
The term International law was coined by the English Philosopher, Jerry Bentham.
According to the Bentham classic definition International law is a collection of rules
governing the relation between the states.
International law is between the nations that governs how nation interact with each
other, citizen of other nations and business of other nation.
The origin of International is found in India. “Arathshastra” was written by Kautliya or
Chanyaka. It was also traced back to Mahabaharat. Like Ambassadors were not killed
whatever news was given by him. There was particular law to deal with other
Provinces.

---- Treaty: Treaty is aggravated form of agreement. It is signed between

two countries. It is considered as international agreement

---- Agreement: Agreement is lesser form than treaty. It is always between

individuals, companies etc.

Treaty can be referred to of different names;-

International conventions, International charaters, Memorandum of

Understanding, Protocol, constitution for international organisation.

Treaties can be bilateral or multilateral.

 (^) Public International Law- It deals with relationship between the nation. It includes

  1. Standards of international Behaviour.
  2. The laws of sea.
  3. Economic law
  4. Diplomatic Law
  5. Environmental law
