BE RIGHT! BE GOOD!

The best way to make sure that we are taking care of ourselves is to always strive to the right thing
and to be good in all that we do. Make doing the right thing ,the first priority in our life. Goodness
should be a trademark that accompanies all your actions and relationships, integrity and good
character are the crown of life . it’s exercises a greater power than wealth and secures all the honor
without the jealousies of fame. When wealth and Health are lost there is some loss, but when
character and integrity are lost all is lost.
Good character and integrity of the citizens determine the success of nation. When integrity and
good character play second fiddle ,there begins the ruin of individual and nations. Integrity and
character are important for the very existence and survival of a free society. In fact, most of our
interactions and relationships are dependent on trust and faith in each others integrity. Democracy
presupposes trust in the leaders to do the right thing for the country and its citizens. The losses of a
good person who does right always are much less compared to the losses of a person who tries to
win by fraud and deceit.
In the Bible, Jesus told his disciples to be good and to do the right thing without expecting a
reward .He said, “ When you help a needy person, do it in such a way that even your closet friend
will not know about it. Your right hand should know what your left hand is doing.” It should be
natural overflow of our character that we do the right thing and always good.
The message was clear, the person who is right and good is to continue to be so, not because others
are good or bad , but because his own success depends on his being upright and good. The person
exerts an influence , which affects the whole community. Many others will be encouraged and
supported in their efforts to be good and right. It is important that we support each other to be
successful and happy.
Our great leader Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam say “ If there is righteousness in the heart , there’s beauty in
Character. If there is beauty in character there will harmony in the home. If there is harmony in the
home,there will be order in nation. If there is order in nation ,there will be peace in the World.”
Let there be peace, joy and happiness in our hearts. Let there be peace, Joy and happiness in our
Home. let there be peace ,joy and happiness in our village. Let there be peace , joy and happiness in
our constituency. Let there be peace, joy and happiness in our District. Let there be peace , joy and
happiness in our state. Let there be peace, joy and happiness in our country. And let there be peace ,
joy and happiness in the whole World.
