Actor Contract
This agreement (hereafter referred to as “the contract”) is between Name of Actor (hereafter referred to
as “the Actor”) and Name of Production Company (hereafter referred to as “the Company”). This
contract will set forth the terms under which Name of Production Company has agreed to engage the
Actor for the motion picture currently titled Name of Film, hereafter referred to as “the picture”.
Section 1 . 1 : Services
1 . 1 A The Actor shall render services to _____________in the capacity as an on- camera Actor and/or
voice Actor. Services shall be rendered on the picture commencing on or about the date of Starting
Date; services should conclude on or about the date of Ending Date or until the completion of principal
photography.
1 . 1 B The Actor shall render all services as the Company may require in connection with the capacity
listed above regarding the picture. Said services shall be rendered at the times and places required by
the Company and in a conscientious and artistic manner.
1 . 1 C In connection with the exploitation of the picture, the Company shall also have the right to record,
produce, reproduce, amplify, enlarge, broadcast, use, perform, and distribute pictures of the Actor’s
image, voice, and all other sound of any kind or nature, whether such sounds shall have been created by
the Actor or by others. The Company shall have the right to substitute the voice of another or others for
the Actor’s voice, when the Company deems necessary. If applicable, the Company shall also have the
right to use a “double” for the Actor’s acts, poses, plays and appearances to such extent as the Company
may desire.
Section 1 . 2 : Compensation
1 . 2 A The Actor shall not receive monetary compensation for rendering above services to the
Company, nor shall the actor receive any compensation (monetary or otherwise) for food, clothing,
makeup, gas, or transportation expenses incurred by the Actor for the picture. However, in the event that
the picture is purchased for distribution, the Actor,Name of Actor, will receive ___% of the gross
monetary earnings, up to Specific Amount of dollars ($0.00).
1 . 2 B It is the responsibility of the Actor to provide his/her own wardrobe, makeup, and
transportation, except where expressly provided by the Company. Food and drinks will be provided
for the Actor at no expense.
Section 1 . 3 : Credit
1 . 3 A Provided that the Actor substantially renders the services contemplated in the contract on the
picture, renders them in a professional manner satisfactory to the Company and further provided that the
Actor is not in breach of any of the terms of this contract, then the Actor shall be accorded credit in a
manner customary within the motion picture industry. The size and placement of such credit shall be at the
sole discretion of the Company.
Section 1 . 4 : Taxes
1 . 4 A The Actor shall be solely liable for the payment of all income and other taxes that may be due
on the compensation that the Company has paid to the Actor.

1 . 5 A All payments and notices to the Actor shall be personally delivered or mailed via USPS mail
to the Actor at the following address:

  1. 1 A** The Actor shall render services to _____________in the capacity as an on- camera Actor and/or voice Actor.   1. 6 A** In addition to the Actor’s services rendered, the Company shall solely and exclusively own all results, product, and proceeds thereof (including, but not limited to, all rights of whatever kind and character throughout the world, indefinitely in any and all languages of production, manufacture, recordation, reproduction, performance, and exhibition in any manner and by any art, device, or method, now known or hereinafter devised), whether such results, product, and proceeds consist of literary, dramatic, musical, motion picture, mechanical or any other form of works, themes, ideas, compositions, creations, or products. The Company’s acquisition hereunder shall also include all rights generally known in the field of literary and musical endeavor as the “moral rights of the authors” in and/or to and musical and/or literary proceeds of the Actor’s services. The Company shall also have the right in respect to such product to add to, subtract from, change, arrange, revise, adapt, rearrange, translate into any and all languages, change the sequence, change the characters and the descriptions thereof, change the title of the same, record and photograph the same with or without sound (including spoken words, dialogue, and music synchronously recorded), use said title or any of its components in connection with works or motion pictures wholly or partially independent thereof, to vend, copy, and publish the same as the Company may desire. The Actor hereby assigns to the Company all of the aforementioned without reservation, conditions, or limitations and no right of any kind, nature, or description is reserved by the Actor. 1. 6 B The Company shall always have the sole and exclusive right, but only in connection with the picture or in connection with the services rendered by the Actor with regard to the picture, to use and display the Actor’s name and likeness for advertising, publicizing, and exploiting the picture, including without limitation souvenir programs, commercial tie-ups, paperback editions of the literary property directly related to and on which the picture is based, or any sound recording. **Section 1. 7 : Publicity and advertising
  2. 7 A:** The Actor hereby specifically grants to the Company the right to use the Actor’s name, likeness, voice, still publicity photographs, actual appearances in the picture (in any manner) and biography in connection with the productions, exhibition, advertising, and other exploitation of the picture. The Actor shall not circulate, publish, or otherwise distribute any news stories or articles, books, or other publicity containing the Actor’s name relating directly or indirectly to the Actor’s services, the subject matter of this contract, the picture or the services to be rendered by the Actor or others for the picture unless the same are first approved by the Company. **Section 1. 8 : Actor Default
  3. 8 A:** If Actor fails or refuses to perform or comply with any material terms or conditions for any reason including but not limited to Actor’s physical or mental incapacity, then Company shall have the right to terminate this Agreement upon written notice thereof to Actor. Except as indicated below, prior to termination of this Agreement by Company based upon Actor Default, Company shall notify Actor , specifying the nature of the Actor Default. Actor shall have 48 hours after the giving of such notice to cure the Default. If the Actor Default is not cured within the 48-hour period, Company may terminate this Agreement forthwith. However, if Actor’s default is that Actor has failed to appear for a scheduled shoot for which Actor has been given prior notice, then Company may terminate this Agreement without sending Actor written notice of the default. Such termination, solely in this case, shall be effective immediately upon the giving of notice of termination by the Company.
